BIO:
Gaetan is an engineer by background having qualified as a civil mining engineer at the University of Liege. He studied management and administration at the Catholic University of Louvain and risk and insurance management at the University of Mons.
Before joining Group John Cockerill, Gaetan worked in engineering and production for Group Lhoist. He then joined AG Insurance Company and held various roles linked to corporate risks before moving to Group InBev as risk and insurance manager for BeNeLux and France. He joined Group CMI, now known as John Cockerill in 2007.
Gaetan is also President of Belrim, the Belgian Risk Management Association and Board member and Treasurer of FERMA.

BIO:
Since 2021, Rocco is the Head of Global Insurance at MSC Cruises. In this position, he provides control, coordination and advisory assistance for any insurance covers placed within MSC Cruises Group on global basis.
Rocco started an international career (in Switzerland, France, Italy, Belgium and Monaco) with significant expertise in shipping brokerage, marine insurance and P&I underwriting, broking, consulting and risk & insurance management for shipping companies. Rocco used to be a member of Inland Hull, Fishing Vessels and Yachts (IFY) Committee at IUMI (International Union of Marine Insurance).
Rocco is board member of NorthStandard P&I since May 2022 and he is also member of SIRM and ANRA (Swiss and Italian Risk & Insurance Managers Associations).
Rocco has Master’s degree in Maritime and Transport Economics from the University of Genoa, Italy and he is a chartered shipping broker in Italy.
Rocco often participates as speaker and lecturer at shipping and insurance conferences and seminars.

Ramírez also earned a MBAE from ESIC, a PMD from IESE and he is Expert in Risk Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.

Lea was Board Member of the European Captive Insurance and Reinsurance Owners’ Association (ECIROA), is Board Member of the Dutch Association for Risk and Insurance Managers (NARIM), and is an Advanced RIMAP Certified professional.
Prior to her current role she was the Captive and Insurance Manager for a large brewery company and the Risk & Insurance Manager for a real estate investor.
